Skimming
This is the most common finish. To put it plainly, The plaster is applied, then finished and polished to a high standard, highlighted by sharp angles or curved round or arches.
Bonding
This is normally a base coat for skimming whereby the plaster is applied over uneven surfaces. Followed by manipulation to a flat surface so that the skim coat can be applied leaving the surface smooth and flat.

Sand and Cement Floating This coat is applied to the external (block) Wall inside the building. This coat is applied to take any unevenness or dips and hollows from walls to leave it flat for the finishing coat of plaster.
